The first consultation helps us understand your wishes and medical circumstances. The examination shows which anatomical structures need to be considered. We then discuss possible procedures, alternatives and limitations.

Planning also includes questions beyond the procedure itself: how much support will you need? When will surgery fit into your daily life? Which follow-up checks are necessary?

Before treatment, the necessary examinations and anaesthetic planning are coordinated. The preparation required depends on the procedure and your health. This includes your medication, previous operations and possible risk factors.

Your stay and discharge are planned individually. If needed, please arrange for someone to accompany you and support you during the initial period at home.

You will receive a plan tailored to your procedure for wound care, physical activity and follow-up appointments. Before surgery, we clarify whom to contact if you experience symptoms and how to reach the treating practice.

An operation is only well prepared when the practical arrangements for recovery are also in place.
