Approach to treatment
A finding rarely has just one cause. Tissue quality, proportion and the initial anatomy interact.
Restraint is a surgical decision, not a precaution.
The result should leave the person recognisable — not the procedure.
Career and qualifications
Dr. med. Dr. Phil. Annemarie Nijboer studied in Groningen and at the University of Pennsylvania. Her surgical training took her to Groningen, Brisbane and Zwolle. This was followed by a fellowship in Brisbane and a position as acting senior physician at Frankfurt University Hospital. She later worked in aesthetic surgery and medical management in Frankfurt and Zurich.
